Today is not a good day to be blacklisted

Today is definitely not a good day to be blacklisted as Google seems to be “busy”. We have been trying to help some clients to get their sites reviewed and removed from Google’s blacklist, but all we get at the “Webmasters tools” is: “Our system is currently busy. Please try again in a few minutes.”.

Well, we have been getting this message since last night, so even after removing all the malware and cleaning our client’s sites, we can’t get Google to review them again…

Big fail for google today. They do a good job spotting malware and blocking sites, but they also need to be fast to respond and unblock when a site is clean.Hopefully they will be back soon.

    Looks more like a big fail on your part for letting the site get compromised in the first place in my opinion. In the future you might consider being patient when you screw up and your site gets compromised. Realize that first and foremost Google did not compromise your sites and secondly that they have millions if not billions of other sites to deal with and that in no way shape or form are you or your clients special.

    Hi Mr. Anonymous.

    First, it wasn't our sites that got compromised. They came to us already with malware so we could fix and deal with it. It is part of what we do as a company.

    Second, it is not the users fault that they got compromised. Yes, they made security mistakes, but let's put the blame on the right people. It is like saying it is someone fault they got robbed because they didn't have good locks…
